For example, a weekly 6-page newsletter will most likely be a little too much for your readers. You will want them to read every issue of your publication not just the odd one here or there when they have the time.

I normally send out my newsletters every 10 days.

I find that this is just about right for my intended audience and the feedback that I get is just awesome.

I want to make sure that I am always in my subscriber’s thoughts but I do not want to overload them and go overboard with my marketing. I therefore find that 10 days in-between each newsletter works just great.

The newsletter is around 2 sides of A4 equivalent as well so it will not take up too much time to read.

My advice to you is to experiment and find your own optimum frequency.

Of course, the beauty of having a mailing list is that every 6 months or so you can send out an email to them all asking for feedback on your newsletter. They can actually tell you their preferences for what frequency you should send it to them and also what to include within it!
