How Long Should Your Newsletter Be And How Often Should You Send It Out

When you think about the number of emails that we all receive on a daily basis the one thing that we are always up against is time.

Therefore, if you produce a weekly newsletter that is more a kin to “War And Peace” you will most likely end up frustrating your subscribers and they will most likely unsubscribe.

There is a fine line between giving your subscribers too much or too little information!

You will need to test this.

Do not compromise on quality at all. Make sure that what you write, no matter how short it is, will be useful to your subscriber.

The length of your newsletter will come down to two factors:

• How much time have you got to spend on writing and providing content

• What would your subscribers appreciate the most? A short, snappy publication or more in-depth articles and content?
