Your Experience

It will be a lot easier to penetrate your niche if you have had some experience of working within your niche or have helped people within your niche in the past.

For example, one of my mentorees used to be an Accountant and now he is a coach helping Accountants to become more successful by coaching and training them on customer service skills.

As an Accountant one of the major problems that his company faced was dealing with the public. They knew everything there was to know about Accountancy but their communication and customer service skills left a lot to be desired.

Hence, he spotted an opportunity and because he could speak the accountancy “lingo” and understood the industry, this gave him instant credibility when offering his coaching and training services.
