A wide range of factors influence behaviour at work. It is important that you are aware of them and how they con affect your team.

Demotivation - Be aware of factors that can lead to demotivation. These factors, known as dissatisfiers, include:

. pay and benefits
. supervision
. company policy, rules and regulations
. communication
. working conditions
. status
. relationships.

Relationships - Conflict inside or outside the team can lead to demotivation. Conflict can be caused by:

. organisational politics - groups or individuals trying to control, influence or avoid change;

. personal objectives - unclear, inappropriate or incompatible goals;
